The period's revenue and client balances on the same screen.
The revenue report shows what was sold and what was collected in a period; the account report splits the same period client by client. You download the filtered list as Excel or PDF.
Who it is for
For salon owners who would rather read how the month went on their own screen than hear it from an accountant.
- Salons with more than one branch that cannot separate what each brought in
- Owners wondering how revenue is spread across staff
- Managers who want to see in one go whose balance is still open
- Businesses adding up cash, card and transfer in their heads at month end
What was sold in the period, how many, and the average
The Sales tab of the Revenue / Treatment Report opens the period with three cards. The list under the cards carries the same period's rows, so you can see where the figure came from.
- Total, count and average cards sit right above the list
- List columns: Branch, Date, Account, Title, Staff, Total
- The Account column shows which client the row was written to
- When you change the date range, both the cards and the list refresh together
Which wallet the money in the till came through
The Payments tab shows the same period from the side the money came in. Once the amount sold and the amount collected sit side by side, the gap between them shows itself.
- List columns: Branch, Date, Account, Wallet, Wallet type, Description, Staff, Amount
- The split between cash, credit card and bank transfer is read from the wallet type column
- The Earnings card on the dashboard gives the weekly breakdown with the same split
- The Date column keeps, row by row, which day a payment came in
Staff breakdown and export
The Staff tab splits the period person by person and shows how sales are spread. If the report is not staying on screen, it downloads as Excel or PDF with the same filter.
- Average total and average count cards arrive per person
- The top staff member card records who led the period
- Daily and breakdown charts plot how the period spread out
- Filters work together: date range, branch, staff member, department
- Excel and PDF export take the list exactly as you filtered it on screen
Balance and statement per client
The Account Report (Clients) splits the same period account by account. It has three tabs: Financial gives the balance, Details gives the profile, and Statement gives one account's movement export.
- Financial tab columns: Account, Balance, Revenue, Revenue count
- Highest Balance, Highest Revenue and risk cards sit at the top of the list
- The balance is an all-time total; the date range filters the cards and the risk chart
- On the Statement tab, the movements of the account you pick run in date order
- The account type filter decides which group of accounts the report brings

Frequently asked
What does a salon revenue report do?
It shows on one screen what the salon sold in a period and how much of it was collected. In Bi'Salon the Revenue / Treatment Report splits the period into Sales, Payments and Staff tabs, and each tab has its own summary cards and row list. The figure comes for the date range you pick, not at month end.
Can I export the report to Excel?
Yes. Both the Revenue / Treatment Report and the Account Report screens have Excel and PDF download; the file comes down with whatever filter you applied on screen. If you narrow the date range, the branch and the staff member before downloading, the file carries only that much.
Can I see in one go whose balance is still open?
Yes, the Financial tab of the Account Report (Clients) exists for exactly that. The list arrives with Account, Balance, Revenue and Revenue count columns, and the Highest Balance card sits at the top. For a single client's movement export you switch to the Statement tab and pick that account first.
Does the balance in the account report belong to the date range I picked?
No. The Balance column is an all-time total and includes past periods. The date range filters the cards at the top and the risk chart; if you want to see the debit and credit movement of a particular period, look at the Statement tab.
Can I filter the report by branch and staff member?
Yes. On the Revenue / Treatment Report's filter row, date range, branch, staff member and department work together. The Staff tab also carries average total, average count and top staff member cards. These cards show how sales are spread across people.
Does salon reporting replace accounting software?
No. The figures here come from the payment, expense and account records you entered into Bi'Salon, and describe the pre-accounting side. Statutory ledgers, tax returns and year-end accounting stay with your accountant. You download the period export as Excel or PDF and pass it to them.
