What is Bi'Salon, and what does it do for a bridal hair and make-up studio?
Bi'Salon is bridal hair and make-up booking software that keeps the wedding-day appointment, the trial, the bride's wishes and the payment record in one panel. The make-up artist working alone and the bridal team use the same calendar and the same client card. There is no separate field for a deposit; what the bride pays is recorded on her card.
Can I enter a wedding day that is far ahead right now?
Yes. You open the calendar in the month view and enter the appointment on the future date; whether that day is taken shows when you look at the calendar.
Can I take a deposit and hold the wedding date with it?
No, there is no separate field for a deposit or prepayment, and the date is not tied to a deposit. You record the payment you take from the bride on her card as a payment. What holds the day on the calendar is the appointment you enter.
Can I keep the trial appointment separate?
Yes. The trial and the wedding day are entered as separate appointments for the same client. The trial that has taken place stays in the Appointment history tab of the card; the wedding day shows on the calendar.
On the wedding day I work at a hotel, not in the studio; where do I write the address?
In the appointment's note field. The appointment form has no separate address field; it has staff, time, client, service and notes.
What happens to the record if the bride cancels or does not show up?
The record is not deleted. A cancelled appointment shows in the list with the Show cancelled option; an appointment the bride missed stays in the list with the No-show status.
Does the reminder go out under my own business name?
With setup, yes. Until setup is done, notifications go out under the Bi'Salon name. The message text is an approved template and cannot be changed.
I have few appointments off season; how does the membership work?
The membership runs for 12 months; 10 users and 1,200 SMS and WhatsApp messages are included. You can cancel whenever you want and the remaining months are refunded.
