What comes into the till and what leaves it land in the same list.
You write both payments in and payments out on one screen, and every record lands in a wallet and against a party. Whose account is open, which money came through the bank: you see it when you open the list.
Who it is for
For salons collecting the day's takings from the till and the bank, trying to remember in the evening whose account is still open.
- Hairdressers and beauty salons running open accounts for clients
- Salon owners who want the cash drawer kept apart from the bank account
- Treatment centres not collecting a package fee in one go
- Teams where the front desk takes payments and the owner keeps the till
Money in and money out on one screen
The Payments screen holds all of the salon's money movement. You write incoming money with Add Payment and outgoing money with Add Outgoing into the same list.
- When opening a record you pick the amount, the wallet and the party
- Columns are Payment Date, Direction, Wallet, Party, Amount and Description
- The Direction column shows whether the row is money in or money out
- You filter by wallet and party, and the cash drawer is kept apart from the bank
- The payment detail records who entered it and when
Which account the incoming money closed
On the Offsetting tab you pick the party, and the open items split into debits and credits. As much as you match closes, and the rest stays open.
- You pick one debit, one credit and an amount, then choose Match
- A wrong match is undone with Unmatch
- On a partial payment the remaining amount stays as the party's open item
- While entering a payment there is an option to close open items on the same form
- The match list on the payment detail is read-only and is not changed from there
Open the record from an open bank line in one step
On the Bank Movements tab, statement lines are listed and every line has a clear status: Open or Matched. You open a record straight from an open line, without typing the amount.
- Columns are Transaction Date, Wallet, Description, Counterparty, Amount and Balance
- Each row carries a Reference No and an Open or Matched status
- Pressing an open row opens the form pre-filled with that movement's details
- Once the record is complete the line turns to Matched, and no second record is created
- A matched row takes you to its related payment record
Close a client's account from their card
The Add Payment button on the client card opens the payment form with the party locked in. Balance and Total Revenue sit on the Financial Status card, and the movement export in the Accounting tab.
- The payment record lands both in the Payments list and on the client's statement
- The form has an option to close open items in the same step
- Balance and Total Revenue at the top of the card, the movement export in the Accounting tab
- We covered the card's remaining tabs on the client tracking page
What changes
The questions asked while counting the till in the evening now have answers in the list:
Frequently asked
What does salon till tracking software do?
It keeps a record of the money coming into and going out of the salon's till. In Bi'Salon every payment is written to a wallet and a party and lands on the client's statement. The amount left open stays in the list until it is closed.
Can I see cash and bank payments separately?
Yes. Every record is written to a wallet, and the till and the bank are defined separately. You filter the payments list by wallet and read the day's cash takings apart from the bank.
Where do I see what a client still owes?
When you open the client card, Balance and Total Revenue are written on the Financial Status card at the top. The movement export sits in the Accounting tab; the card's remaining tabs are described on the client tracking page.
What does offsetting mean?
It means matching a credit against a debit on the same account and closing them off. In Bi'Salon you pick the client on the Offsetting tab, the open items are listed as debits and credits, and you match one against the other and write the amount. If you matched the wrong pair, you undo it with Unmatch.
What happens when a client pays in instalments?
You record the amount you took that day, and the rest stays as the party's open item. The same item comes up at the next payment and closes as you write against it. You read how much has been closed from the balance on the client card.
Do I also issue e-invoices from Bi'Salon?
Yes. Bi'Salon covers issuing e-Fatura and e-Arşiv documents approved by GİB, Türkiye's tax authority; you see your e-invoice balance and its usage on the Credit screen. The money record stays separate: you write the payment on the Payments screen and it lands in its wallet and on the client's statement.
