Let every expense go onto a receipt, and who was paid stay on the record.
If you are in a hurry you enter the receipt as a single amount; if you need the breakdown you enter it line by line. The payment to the supplier, the return and a photo of the paper receipt all sit in the tabs of the same record.
Who it is for
For salons where product purchases, rent and supplier payments pile up separately, and who want their spending in one place.
- Salons buying products regularly from suppliers
- Businesses whose paper receipts pile up in a drawer and get hunted for at month end
- Salon owners tired of retyping the same expense every month
- Businesses where staff enter the receipt and the owner approves the payment
You can enter a receipt quickly, or line by line
Choosing New Expense splits entry into two modes. You close a single-amount receipt in quick mode, and if you need the breakdown you switch to detailed entry on the same screen.
- Quick entry: supplier, date, title and a single amount; you write the VAT yourself
- Detailed entry: each line item on its own row with its quantity and unit price
- On the Items screen, name, code, ERP code, group, price and VAT are defined once
- Anything not in the catalogue is created without leaving the receipt with + New Product/Service
- List columns are Document No, Date, Supplier, Title, Practitioner and Total; the Practitioner column records who entered the receipt
The supplier card opens from inside the receipt
If the supplier is not in the list while you are entering a receipt, you do not have to leave the screen. + New Supplier opens a card, and saving it returns you to where you left off.
- Suppliers are kept on their own tab of the list under Accounting
- Name and ID are required on the card; the ID field takes a national ID or a tax number
- Invoicing and address details sit in the card's accordions, the same fields as the client card
- A supplier you no longer work with is set inactive rather than deleted, and their past receipts stay
The payment, the note and the paper receipt live inside the record
Once you save a receipt, a Make Payment button sits on top of it. You pick which wallet the money left from, and the payment stays tied to the receipt.
- Make Payment: wallet, date, amount and description; the record lands in the Payments list
- The receipt's tabs are Items, Payments, Notes and Documents
- A photo of the paper receipt is attached to it in the Documents tab
- The Status column shows whether the receipt is open or closed
- An expense that repeats every month is opened with Copy and its date and amount changed
When a product goes back, the return is recorded from the same receipt
When a product you bought goes back to the supplier, you press Refund on top of the expense receipt. You do not enter a negative amount by hand or write a second receipt.
- Refund: the offsetting record is created from the expense receipt itself
- Returns are listed on their own tab of the Expenses screen
- The Returns tab depends on permissions; staff without them cannot see it
- A receipt entered incorrectly is removed with Delete, and a similar one reopened with Copy

Frequently asked
What does salon expense tracking software do?
It records the salon's spending as receipts and keeps a record of what was paid to which supplier. In Bi'Salon every expense receipt sits together with its supplier, its line items and its payment. Instead of hunting for a paper receipt in a drawer, you filter the list by date and supplier.
Do I have to enter expenses line by line?
No. In quick entry you write the supplier, the date, the title and a single amount, and close the receipt. If you need a line breakdown you switch to detailed entry on the same screen, where each row has its own quantity and unit price. You enter the VAT rate yourself; because rates can change it is not hardcoded into the program, so check the list published by GİB, Türkiye's tax authority, for the current rate.
Can I see how much I still owe a supplier?
Yes. Opening the Account Report screen on the supplier side lists each supplier's balance and movement count. On the Statement tab, the movements of the supplier you pick run in date order. We described the report screens in full on the revenue and account report page.
Can I add a supplier while entering a receipt?
Yes. + New Supplier on the receipt screen opens a card; name and ID are required, and the ID field takes a national ID or a tax number. You fill in the address and invoicing details from the accordions. Once saved, the supplier takes its place in the list and you pick it from there on the next receipt.
Where do I see the payment I made to a supplier?
The outgoing you record with Make Payment on top of the receipt appears both in the receipt's Payments tab and in the Payments list. In the list the Direction column separates money in from money out, and the Wallet column shows which till the money left from. We described the till side in full on the payments and till page.
Can I keep the original receipt in the panel too?
Yes. You upload a photo or a scan of the paper receipt to the receipt's Documents tab, and the document sits under the record. That way the amount, the line items, the payment and the document itself collect on the same record. This list is the salon's own expense record; it does not take the place of the documents you give your accountant.
